How this Barcelona real estate directory works
Every list starts from the same source: the businesses Google Maps shows for a trade in Barcelona, in English and Spanish searches. We keep the ones whose own Google category matches the trade, drop closed ones, and place each in one of the city's 10 districts and 73 neighbourhoods using the official boundaries of the Ajuntament de Barcelona.
The ranking is a weighted average of the Google rating: a 4.8 from 400 clients beats a 5.0 from three friends. Each profile shows the facts behind its position (rating, reviews, the share of 5-star reviews, district, opening hours) and the business's own description.
Who you need, step by step
- Renting: a rental agency or a coliving space, and a gestoría if you still need your NIE.
- Buying: a real estate agent or a property finder who searches for you, a real estate lawyer, a mortgage broker and a notary for the deed.
- Moving: a relocation agency and a moving company.
- Owning: a property manager, an architect for renovations or the habitability certificate, and home staging when you sell.
